The short version. Sleevio has no accounts, no analytics, no tracking, no advertising, and no servers. It does not connect to the internet. Nothing you do in the app is recorded, transmitted, or shared with anyone — including us.
Information we collect
We collect nothing. Sleevio does not gather personal information, usage statistics, diagnostics, device identifiers, or any other data. There is no sign-up, no login, and no user account.
Your music and library data
Sleevio reads the music files in folders you explicitly choose. Everything it derives from them — your library, playlists, star ratings, play counts, favourites, and cached artwork and tags — is stored only on your Mac, inside the app's own sandboxed storage. It is never uploaded anywhere.
Sleevio reads your files but does not modify them. Your tags and artwork are left exactly as they are.
Network access
Sleevio has no network capability whatsoever. The app is distributed with macOS App Sandbox enabled and does not request the network entitlements that would allow it to make outgoing or accept incoming connections. It cannot send data off your machine even in principle.
File access
Sleevio is sandboxed and can only read the folders and files you explicitly grant it through the standard macOS open panel or by dragging them in. Its access is read-only. It cannot see the rest of your disk.
Third parties
Sleevio contains no third-party SDKs, analytics frameworks, advertising libraries, or crash reporters. No data is shared with third parties, because no data is collected.
Children's privacy
Sleevio is rated 4+ and is safe for all ages. As it collects no information from anyone, it collects no information from children.
Purchases
Sleevio is sold through the Mac App Store. Any purchase is handled entirely by Apple; we never see or receive your payment details. Apple's own privacy policy governs that transaction.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date. Since Sleevio collects no data, we do not anticipate substantive changes.
